This content which revives history, gained enthusiastic response at last year's festival. A series of videos taken with 8mm films capturing the people of Okinawa and nostalgic sceneries have been digitalized for screenings with commentary. Films include "Dolphin hunting of Nago" (1969), "Juri Horse" (1970), "Itoman's great tug of war" (1957) and "Eisenhower's parade" (1962). Never seen on TV or movies, the disappearing history of post-war Okinawa comes alive again.
