Yoshimoto Okinawa Shufuran

“Yoshimoto 47 Shufuran” is a regional revitalization project envisioned to select delicacies from regions around Japan to be issued “Gold Ribbon” certification. The scheme is for housewives from one of Japan’s 47 prefectures to choose local treats they recommend for eating themselves or as souvenirs. The selections are then narrowed down to those considered to be the best, with the final winners determined by general ballot and screening by Yoshimoto Kogyo entertainers, famous buyers and other judges.

“Yoshimoto Okinawa Shufuran” was first staged last year as the Okinawa Prefecture version of Yoshimoto 47 Shufuran. The 2018 edition will adopt an even more aggressive approach, in a redoubled push to uncover new products and furnish useful publicity from numerous communities around Okinawa.

As a key phase of the project, the “Yoshimoto Okinawa Shufuran 2018 Qualifying Round” will be sponsored during the All Things Great in All the Islands Festival. All guests, film industry people and Yoshimoto entertainers will be able to participate and vote. Please show up to cast a “tasty” ballot for you own favorite on this occasion.
