Established in 1950, Shuri Gekijo is Okinawa’s oldest existing cinema, continuing to pass on nostalgic post-war ambience. Masanori Kinjo, third generation of his family, continues operations of his long-running family theater alone. However, the day has come when he must say goodbye to his beloved films and convert to digital media. A documentary looking at a theater and its director preserving and delivering films.
