Story

In his mid 30s, Sota is beginning to grow tired of continuing his meandering lifestyle. Meanwhile, a innocent musician in his 20s remains shrouded in mystery, and won’t let anyone know about his past.
Living in the strange “Giza Giza Apartments” in an unknown part of Tokyo, the two live a secret lifestyle illegally selling cannabis. Without getting in the way of one another, they enjoy a life of freedom and debauchery.
However, things look like they’re drawing to an end after the musicians single mother, Tsukimi, tells her son she wants to live with him.
And the evil hand of the Yazuka are operating the inside of this run-down town. Facing a terrible fate that seems totally unavoidable, The two become caught up in an unpredictable series of events.

Notes

Arata Iura plays the part of a tired cannabis dealer Sota. With a naive red Mohawk and full-body tattoos, Ryo Narita plays the role of a young musician with a mysterious past. It's a story of violence, love, and fantasy depicting the love and friendship between these two damaged men as they try to take over new territory. Director Kanata Okami is a unique creator who drafted the script for “NAGURIMONO,” starring Hiroshi Tamaki, along with “Bloody Snake Under the Sun,” while also working as a creative director, in music, and as the leader of the transnational hip hop group TOM YUM SAMURAI. He also presently owns an apartment building (formerly restaurants), the massive Michikusa Apartments art building near the Kuromon Market area in Osaka, which served as a location for the film. This is his debut work as a director, for which he also wrote a novel of the same title.
